Project description

This project is expected to deliver Stage 1 of the Coomera Connector, including a new 16 kilometre road connection between Coomera and Nerang, bridges over the Coomera and Nerang rivers, provision of public transport, and active transport facilities.
The full Coomera Connector is a 45 kilometre corridor between Nerang and Loganholme.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $1.734 billion towards the project.

Timetable

Early works began in January 2022. Main construction commenced in March 2023. Progressively opening from late 2025 with Stage 1 North - Coomera Link Road (Foxwell Rd/Shipper Dr) opening to traffic in December 2025.
