Project description

The northern area of the Gold Coast has experienced significant traffic growth. In less than 2 years the right turn movement from Upper Ormeau Rd onto Tillyroen Rd has increased by more than 70% in the AM peak. There have also been reported crashes at the site involving right turning vehicles. Vehicle volumes exceed 13,000 per day. Work will entail signalisation of the intersection to improve road safety and traffic efficiency.

Installation of traffic signals at the intersection including road widening work to improve road safety and traffic efficiency.
