Project description

The section of the roads has limited sub-base and has worn down to a sandy sub-grade with some natural rock protruding in a number of areas along the length of this road. These works are to continue from previous years works to complete another section of the road that has resulted in rapid deterioration of the road pavement, impacting driving conditions and maintenance costs. This is a school bus route including heavy haulage route.

Gravel re-sheeting of the section with 300mm gravel compacted to 200mm.
