Project description

The project will construct a new two lane road bridge and a Principal Shared Path next to the southern side of the existing Mandurah Estuary Bridge with associated works.

Warby Range Road, Wangaratta South - 060005-15VIC-RTR

Bitumen surface is aged and severely cracked. That is the bitumen surface is failing, risking further failure to the road pavement.Repair surface failures and reseal road.

Kings Lane, Moyhu - 060008-15VIC-RTR

Superstructure deteriorated and bridge load limited.Renew bridge superstructure to meet current loading requirement.

Kwolyin West Road - 060011-15WA-RTR

The issue is the road is a restricted access vehicle network 4 road and the surface is only 4m wide with a large overburden of soil and vegetation encroaching on the road surface.The works will be to clear the sides of the road in 2015/2016 in readiness to widen the road to 8m to allow vehicles travelling in opposite directions to pass each other in 2016 / 2017.

Smith Road - 060012-15WA-RTR

During the works required to complete the grain transport network, heavy vechiles were required to use Smith road to access gravel pits. As a result the gravel sheet surface of the road was worn away.The works will be to resheet the gravel surface of the road.

Kwolyin East Road - 060013-15WA-RTR

Following the contrcution of the new section of Kellerberrin Shakelton Road, the old section was closed. At that time Kwolyin East Road ended a 'T' Junction with the closed road section.The works are designed to realign the intersection area to join the two sections of Kwolyin East Road, removing the sharp angled bends.

Fisher West Road - 060014-15WA-RTR

During the works required to complete the grain transport network, heavy vehicles were required to use Fisher West Road. As a result the gravel sheet surface of the road was worn away.The works will be to re-sheet the gravel surface of the road.

Doodlakine South Road - 060015-15WA-RTR

The issue is the road is a restricted access vehicle network 4 road and the surface is only 4m wide with a large overburden of soil and vegetation encroaching on the road surface.The works will be to clear the sides of the road and widen the road to 8m to allow vehicles travelling in opposite directions to pass each other.The project includes sealing and wet mixing.

Baandee North Road - 060016-15WA-RTR

The issue is the road is a restricted access vehicle network 4 road and the surface is only 4m wide with a large overburden of soil and vegetation encroaching on the road surface.The works will be to clear the sides of the road and widen the road to 8m to allow vehicles travelling in opposite directions to pass each other.Total cost of proposed project is $485,931

Sovereign Road, Amity Point (North Stradbroke Island) - 060017-15QLD-RTR

The existing surface and pavement is showing signs of distress and is near the end of its useful life - current condition of road not providing adequate level of service.Propose to resurface road for a length of 900m and a width of 5.8m.Total cost of proposed project is $513,634
