Project description

The existing two-way carriageway cannot cater for the high traffic volumes to date which is causing major maintenance and traffic delay issues. Traffic volumes have increased from 6,800 per day in 2014 to more than 14,000 vehicles per day in 2019. Constructing the road duplication will alleviate this problem.

Aitken Blvd (Stage 1) - Road duplication between Central Park Ave and Brookfield Blvd, Craigieburn, including major intersection upgrades at Marathon Blvd, Brookfield Blvd & Grevillea St.

Total cost of proposed project is $5,000,000
