Project description

Existing seal is narrow - 3.7 m - and has reached the end of its life with edge break, cracking and pavements failures. The road carries a significant of grain during harvest season to the Tullibigeal silos and as the road is also a school bus route this creates a safety hazard.

Seal shoulders will be built up and sealed. Area of existing seal that has failed will be reconstructed. A reseal will be completed over the full length to create a sealed road 7.3 metres wide

Loss of gravel causing pavement failure boggy areas and corregation.Reformation and preparation of subgrade and gravel sheet and compact to a depth of 150mm. Road width is 6 meters with 2 meters of shoulder.

Buttermans Track, Christmas Hills - 060276-15VIC-RTR

Upgrading existing unsealed road to sealed due to increased traffic and escalating routine maintenance costs.Reform existing gravel pavement, shape table drains, replace road culverts as required and spray seal existing gravel road.
