Project description

The road has been impacted by dispersive soil, causing considerable erosion to the pavement and distortion of the seal. A number of studies have been undertaken on the road and specialist advice sort for an engineering solution to be applied to resolve the issue. This project includes recommend treatment to improve the stability of the pavement and therefore improve and extend the life of the seal.

Mill and stabilise with a cementitious stabilising agent the existing road pavement to a depth of 150mm and 7m wide. Install a two coat polymer modified binder seal. Install gravel shoulders 500mm wide. Reinstate line marking to Department of State Growth specifications. Install guideposts and signage as required.
