Project description

Fleming Road is a key access road for Douglas Daly region cattle industry to transport live stock to interstate and Darwin Port. The unsealed section of the Fleming Road gets bogged down and underwater during wet, obstructing live stock transport mainly access to trade destinations. The road also get restrictions for vehicle mass/weight. Upgrading the road surface from unsealed to sealed will improve the access for heavy vehicles, thus optimising the economic benefits.

Upgrade the unsealed section to sealed standards.
