Project description

Bullita Access Road provides access to Gilwi and Bullita Aboriginal communities south of Victoria Highway. The first five kilometres are used daily by school bus to pick up and drop off students from communities. The road is heavily corrugated and rough with lost gravel surface. The road has very poor drainage that cause bogginess during wet and very hazardous to motorists.

Install 4 new concrete culvert at chainages 1.6, 3.55, 5.27 and 5.87 kilometres. Install 6 new 30 m long concrete floodways at chainages 1.25, 1.76, 2.41, 2.96, 3.25 and 5.56 kilometres.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,189,671
