Project description

Road is in very poor condition and requires reconstruction, pavement strengthening, traffic/safety improvements and improved accessibility. Allandale Road links the Hunter Expressway and New England Highway, which has increased the traffic, especially heavy rigid trucks using the road.

Pavement widening and reconstruction, resurfacing, some traffic improvements including improved lane layout, delineation and installation of safety barriers. The pavement improvements will also include strengthening to cater for increased heavy traffic.

Total cost of proposed project is $3,660,000
