Project description

Noble street is a local street in the suburb of Concord. This street has shown signs of distress in several sections. The street provides access to Morlake Public School. In addition, some section of existing kerb & gutter has been severely damaged causing the water to penetrate into the pavement. Council's 4 year pavement treatment plan identifies Noble Street for renewal.

Under this proposal, all damaged kerb & gutter will be repaired along Noble Street. Existing pavement upto 120mm in depth will be removed and new asphalt pavement will be laid to strengthen the base layer. Then, a new wearing course will be applied prior to reinstatement of all existing linemarking. The proposed works will provide improved pavement for motorists and school buses.

Total cost of proposed project is $85,000
