Project description

The project will deliver single-lane roundabout and associated kerb blisters to provide deflection and manage the speed of vehicles through the intersection at the following locations:
1.Belfield Road and Prairie Vale Road (Construction)
2.Belfield Road and Allambie (Construction)
3.Sweethaven Road and Cheyenne Road (Construction)
4.Sweethaven Road and Edensor Road (Design only)
5.Canley Vale Road and Brisbane Road and adjustment to the intersection of Canley Vale Road & Winburndale Road, St Johns Park (Construction)
6.New Leaf Parade and Humphries Road (Construction)
7.New Leaf Parade and Edensor Road (Design only)
8.Wilson Road and Simpson Road (Construction)

Benefits

Once delivered, the roundabout upgrades will improve traffic efficiency, reduce congestion, road safety and access.

Funding

The Australian Government has provided $3,463,538 in funding towards the project.

Timetable

Construction commenced Early 2025 with completion in Mid 2026.

The surface is cracked and potholed.The road will be resealed using 10mm aggregate and the head of the cul-de-sac will be overlayed with a 25mm thick asphalt layer.

Gurley Creek Road (Rural Road) - 059742-15NSW-RTR

There is limited gravel on this section of road in critical areasGravel resheeting of critical areas

Manson Court - 059743-15NT-RTR

The existing surface is cracked and potholed.The road will be resealed with 10mm aggregate and the cul-de-sac will be overlayed with a 25mm thick asphalt layer.

Mandurah Road, Rockingham - 059744-15WA-RTR

Major congestion occurs during PM peak hours. Extra southbound lane through roundabout will assist traffic hour.Adding extra southbound lane North and South of roundabout.Total cost of proposed project is $572,566

Maurice Terrace - 059745-15NT-RTR

The existing surface is stripped, cracked and potholed.10mm aggregate reseal

Eva Lynch Way, Warnbro - 059746-15WA-RTR

Eva Lynch Way has a long straight length of road (500m) with no traffic calming devices resulting in excessive speeds.Traffic calming devices.Total cost of proposed project is $166,955

Granites Drive - 059748-15NT-RTR

The surface is cracked and potholed25mm thick asphalt overlay.

Rand Avenue, Rockingham - 059749-15WA-RTR

Rand Avenue is a long straight road with no traffic calming measures resulting in excessive speeds through the intersection which results in increasing vehicular and pedestrian conflicts.Installation Of RoundaboutTotal cost of proposed project is $199,066
