Project description

The project will deliver single-lane roundabout and associated kerb blisters to provide deflection and manage the speed of vehicles through the intersection at the following locations:
1.Belfield Road and Prairie Vale Road (Construction)
2.Belfield Road and Allambie (Construction)
3.Sweethaven Road and Cheyenne Road (Construction)
4.Sweethaven Road and Edensor Road (Design only)
5.Canley Vale Road and Brisbane Road and adjustment to the intersection of Canley Vale Road & Winburndale Road, St Johns Park (Construction)
6.New Leaf Parade and Humphries Road (Construction)
7.New Leaf Parade and Edensor Road (Design only)
8.Wilson Road and Simpson Road (Construction)

Benefits

Once delivered, the roundabout upgrades will improve traffic efficiency, reduce congestion, road safety and access.

Funding

The Australian Government has provided $3,463,538 in funding towards the project.

Timetable

Construction commenced Early 2025 with completion in Mid 2026.
