Project description

The asphalt road surface is subsided, cracked and had failed in many places with rutting and pot holes on the road surface indicating subsurface failure.

Proposes to heavy patch damaged areas up to 200mm in depth to repair the road pavement failure and resurface (mill and fill) with a 50mm thick asphalt concrete overlay. Approximate area to be rehabilitated is 4006 square metres with dimensions approx.334m long x 12m wide.AC14 C450 50mm plus AC20 C320 50mm patching included.

Total cost of proposed project is $207,367

The existing road is deficient in strength and is breaking up in sections.Replace existing drainage and culverts. Milling and stabilisation to a depth of 200mm, 120mm thick layer of compacted finely crushed rock and finished with a two coat seal.
