Project description

Failures present on this road include longitudinal cracking, crocodile cracking and heavy rutting. Pavement rehabilitation is required in order to provide an expected level of service.

Pre construction works include service locating and geotechnical investigations to inform rehabilitation profile. Based on experience a 70/30 slag lime 2% mix at 300mm deep is a sufficient treatment for a road of this nature, to be confirmed after investigative works. Rehabilitation will be for the travel lanes only, and resheeting an AC10 wearing course will be for both the travel lanes and parking lanes. Linemarking included after civil works are complete.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,099,009
