Project description

The pavement is in very poor condition (greater than 50%) patching; kerb & channel is also in a poor state (great than 2/3 rated as 'poor'); Verges/medians and footpaths quite poor and need replacing to ensure complete upgrade of urban road/pedestrian environment.

Full reconstruction of Frost Av (150mm cement stabilised base; 150mm new crushed rock pavement) new linemarking, new kerb and channel and new concrete footpaths.

Old Cleve Road (Rural Road) - 060621-15SA-RTR

Road shape and drainage poor,. Current surface material very worn.Reform and re-sheet 1.5km's of roadway using crushed limestone rubble sourced locally. Clean out and improve side drains, widen verges and install traffic furniture.

Teelba Road (Rural Road) - 060622-15QLD-RTR

This section of road is currently in poor condition with loss of gravel causing corrugations and roughnessIt is proposed to resheet this section of roadTotal cost of proposed project is $468,487

Toms Road (Rural Road) - 060623-15SA-RTR

Railway Terrace, Kimba - 060624-15SA-RTR

Current seal is very worn requiring ongoing maintenance.Reseal surface with 2 coat 14/7mm aggregate and then spray seal.Total cost of proposed project is $77,570
