Project description

Section of the road is in poor condition with crocodile cracks, rutting and high roughness causing safety concerns to road users. Council have received requests to improve the road and details investigation confirmed that pavement structure is required significant improvement to meet the level of service for the community.

Reconstruct the pavement structure between Toolang Ave to Dalton Rd. Excavate 150mm thick of exiting pavement and reconstruct 100mm AC20 to base layer and 50mm AC14 for wearing course. The section with missing kerb will be constructed with proper concrete kerb and gutter protect the road shoulder and improve surface drainage. Project also includes reinstatement of existing linemark and road pavement markings a spart of the reconstruction works.
