Project description

The Butterfield Street and Clyde Road intersection has been identified as a location requiring upgrade to improve and enhance safety and accessibility for all road users. Motorists and residents along Clyde Road have identified the need for traffic calming to be implemented north of its intersection with Butterfield Street due to increased levels of hooning. The width, grade and location of Clyde Road has led to motorist hooning and caused noise and safety concerns.

The project is proposed to implement traffic calming and increase pedestrian safety by constructing speed platforms on Clyde Road and a pedestrian splitter island at its intersection with Butterfield Street.

Total cost of proposed project is $843,246

Dandarage Road - rural Road - 059504-15QLD-RTR

The blacksoil formation has deteriorated leaving drainage issues which make the road impassable in wet conditions.Rebuild formation and reinstate drainage.

Kidbroke Place, Kelmscott - 059505-15WA-RTR

Road has minor cracks and kerbing height is not standard.Apply crack sealing, remove kerb, replace with mountable kerb and reseal with 25mm Stone Mastic Asphalts (SMA7). Adjust drainage pits.

Merlin Close, Camillo - 059506-15WA-RTR

Road has minor cracks and kerbing height is not standard on the southern side. The existing path and kerb on the opposite side to remain.Apply crack sealing, remove kerb and replace with mountable kerb along southern side. Reseal with 25mm dense graded asphalt (AC7)

Natasha Way, Camillo - 059507-15WA-RTR

Road is cracked and kerbing height is not standard.Apply crack sealing. Remove kerb and replace with mountable kerb and reseal with 25mm Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA7). Adjust drainage pits.

Ashburton Downs Road (Rural Road) - 059508-15WA-RTR

The road has become corrugated over time and is also water worn. This has resulted in loss of road surface material. In addition, seven floodways in this section of road, wash out badly on each rain event.Propose to reform and resheet 9m wide gravel surface and restore drainage for a total length of 20kms. Floodways will be reconstructed, including construction of cutoff walls where required.

Parkfield Road, Kelmscott - 059509-15WA-RTR

Road is cracked and kerbing height is not standard.Apply crack sealing. Remove kerb and replace with mountable kerb. Reseal with 25mm Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA7). Remove and replace existing footpath. Adjust drainage pits.

Ravenscroft Way, Kelmscott - 059510-15WA-RTR

Road is cracked and kerbing height is not standard on the south side.Remove and replace existing semi-mountable kerb on south side along the whole section. Remove and replace existing footpath between Regina Road East and Adams Court (south side). Adjust drainage pits. Apply crack sealing and reseal with 25mm Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA7).

Regina Road, Kelmscott - 059511-15WA-RTR

Road is cracked and kerbing height is not standard.Remove kerb and replace with mountable kerb along north side. Remove footpath and replace along north side. Reseal with 25mm dense graded asphalt (AC7).

Slee Avenue, Kelmscott - 059512-15WA-RTR

Road surface requires re-treatment. Kerbing height is not standard.Remove kerb and replace with mountable kerb along north side. Remove footpath and replace along north side. Reseal with 25mm dense graded asphalt (AC7).

Dean Street, Kelmscott - 059513-15WA-RTR
