Project description

The existing bitumen seal is aged and brittle. Extensive cracking, potholes, fatigue cracking and high roughness is prevalent. This section provided access to Picton industrial estate, the pavement is not suitable for increased traffic volumes and high proportion of heavy vehicles.

Asphalt mill/fill to match into existing kerb and gutter levels. Delineation improvements with line marking.

Berrigal Road (Rural Road) - 059875-15NSW-RTR

The road has a damaged existing seal with road base and sub-base deterioration facilitating minor drainage repairs.Initially accomplish minor drainage repairs as needed followed by required base and sub-base layer stabilisation where required. Bitumen re-sealing is completed to protect the road base and improve road surface.

Millie Road (Rural Road) - 059876-15NSW-RTR

The road has a damaged existing gravel driving surface with road base and sub-base deterioration facilitating minor drainage repairs.Initially accomplish minor drainage repairs as needed followed by required base and sub-base layer stabilisation where required. Gravel surfacing actions including stabilisation as needed to improve the road surface.

Culloden Road - 059877-15NSW-RTR

Culloden Road pavement has extensinve failure to approximately 60% of the area. Pavement length 740m and average width 9.20Rehabilitation of the road pavement by heavy patching, profiling and resurfacing the wearing surfacing. Replacement of the failed kerb and gutterTotal cost of proposed project is $367,000
