Project description

The pavement has failed, and the surface is showing moderate to severe cracking with deformation throughout. The adjacent kerb and channel on both sides is also in poor condition. Intervention is required to ensure the required level of service is maintained for the road and stormwater can free drain in the kerb and eliminate a potential safety hazard. Resurfacing this deteriorating street is required to maintain the functional condition of the roadway but also preserve the life of the underlying pavement.

Full road reconstruction from chainage 0.319km to 0.480km. The quantity is approximately 823m2. Mill and replace road surface from between chainage 0km to 0.150km. The quantity is approximately 1135m2.
