Project description

Project aims to improve the alignment, geometry and condition of road providing access to Wharf and Waterfront areas as well as address the ongoing issues of lack of sufficient formal carparks and boat trailer parks, poor stormwater drainage, unsafe pedesterian and cyclists shared path, insufficient street lighting and other general traffic safety issues.

This project is continuation of an ongoing Charlotte Street Stage 5 revitalisation project and will build on the ongoing construction/development towards completion. The scope of works include road works (including earthworks, steep slopes treatments/retaining structures, pavement and asphalt), kerb and channel, storm water and subsoil drainage, formal carparks and boat trailer parks, shared path for pedestrians and cyclists connecting water front shared path up to Milbi wall (possibly to Sherrin Esplanade shared path), road signage and line markings, street lighting (budget permitting), general land scaping (budget permitting).

Total cost of proposed project is $1,366,766
