Project description

The existing timber bridge at the Bucca Road crossing of Hermans Gully is approximately 66 years old (constructed in 1957) and is now approaching end of life. Inspections of the structure undertaken by Council have revealed deterioration of the timber piles. Significant maintenance work would be required to maintain the load bearing capacity of the structure into the future.

Replacement of the timber bridge with concrete box culverts.

Total cost of proposed project is $2,673,349
