Project description

Blockage of Drains from buildup of last wet season. The works need to be completed before the next wet season otherwise there will be flooding onto the parallel road, cause hazards to vehicles and pedestrians. Alot more work will be required due to no works being completed in the last 5 years. If the drainage work is not completed, the 3 roads surrounding the drainage will flood as per previous years.

Removal of sentiment and dirt with loader and excavator, rubbish removal and heavy shrubs and trees. Labour. Length of drain - 361.91m

Road Pavement has failed. Lanacoona Road is a B-Double Road. Road failure has created noise issues with residents in the area.Road pavement reconstruction and resurfacing

Surfers Parade is a popular tourist route along the beach front at Middleton. The current road surface has reached it's end of life and is unsightly.Reasealing 330 meters of road with a Spray Seal

Cemetery Road (rural road) - 059266-15WA-RTR

There has been excessive deterioration of the existing seal due to heavy traffic and poor drainage. This has caused cracks and potholes in the carriageway.It is proposed to widen shoulders and reseal the road to achieve a 9 metre wide carriageway.

Piesse Street, Wyalkatchem - 059268-15WA-RTR

There has been deterioration and wear of existing seal on Piesse Street with cracks and potholes evident.It is proposed to fully reconstruct the first 30 metres, reseal the remainder and re-kerb the entire section.

There has been deterioration and wear of the road shoulders with large drop offs evident.It is proposed to clear vegetation as necessary and recondition the road shoulders.Total cost of proposed project is $127,387
