Project description

Weld Road is Local distributor road that services the surrounding farming areas and is described as a gravel road approx. 7m wide with roadside drainage. Over time the Weld Road surface has suffered wear and tear due to the effects of weather, traffic and erosion and ongoing operational maintenance grades are not able to improve the surface without a top up of Gravel.

It is proposed to target the worst sections of Weld Road to improve the road surface by mixing and working approx. 100mm thick of gravel into the road weld surface.

Total cost of proposed project is $427,500
