Project description

The bitumen seal along Austin Road has deteriorated due to weather, traffic and general wear and tear. A new seal is required to extend the life of the road pavement to avoid more costly repairs to the pavement and seal at a later date. NOTE: Project delay and reschedule due to; heading into the winter season, project design near completion, works scheduling still required.

Austin Road is an access road that services special rural lots near the town of Capel. It is proposed to undertake a bitumen re-seal to protect the road surface and pavement from Future degradation. Project scope amended, 30mm AC10 overlay in preference of bitumen reseal (bituminous products RFT 23/11).

Total cost of proposed project is $97,750
