Project description

Howard Street is a key strategic transport route, being heavily utilised by commercial vehicles and B-Double trucks (gazetted OD route). The sealed road pavement has reached end of useful life and requires renewal.

Reconstruction of approximately 1.6km of existing sealed road pavement, including excavation and placement of 200mm depth stabilised subgrade, 120mm sub-base, 160mm upper base and dual 147mm primer seal. Includes installation of new equalising culverts and headwalls, as well as several driveway culverts and drivable headwalls.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,841,983
