Project description

Asset Management process identified asphalt wearing course has come to the end of its useful life and has started to break up resulting in cracking and potholes. Minor sections of kerb line damaged, pram ramps creating access issues and drainage structures requiring cycle safe replacement grates and adjustments.

272m L x 6.9m W = 1876m2. Existing asphalt wearing course will be milled off in sections and over laid with a 30mm thick, AC10 metal at 50blow dense graded asphalt. Kerbing will be replaced over short sections, pram ramps replaced to meet flush with asphalt and new cycle safe wave grates installed onto existing drainage structures and adjusted for height during construction.
