Project description

It is an important primary connection within the Kewdale Industrial Estate. Heavy vehicle loads and turning stresses from over sized and over length vehicles rated under the Restricted Area Vehicles (RAV) programme run by the State's Main Roads Department have created excessive wear on the ashpalt wearing course and started to deform the existing cross sections in places.

Length, width and area of job: 1075m x 7.81m = 8395m2. Profile and remove 100mm of materials from kerb side lane and 500mm for the remaining lane width. Replace with with asphalt layers as per pavement design. Repair drainage and kerbing as required.
