Project description

Dust suppression and to reduce road deterioration to township roads

Survey the correct alignment of existing unsealed roadway, cut out and remove the existing base material, create the correct road alignment and design heights, Install drainage infrastructure to ensure water flow, cart in place and compact road sub-base material, cart in place base layer and compact base layers, perform a two coat bitumen 14/7 seal inclusive of prime coat, reinstall safety markers.

Cooltong Avenue - North - 059658-15SA-RTR

Cooltong Avenue – North has been rated against Councils Road Asset Management plan and it has reached its design life. Resealing this road now will extend the life of the asset as well as providing a safe smooth road surface, free of defects.The proposed work will include road shoulder alignment and re-sealing.

Pavement has deteriorated and needs to be reconstructed.Existing road is to be stabilised and reconstructed.Total cost of proposed project is $180,439

Existing timber bridge is in poor condition and does not meet current standards.Replacement of bridge with concrete crown units.Total cost of proposed project is $259,000

Wattle Hill Road, Stonor. - 059662-15TAS-RTR

The existing bridge has been assessed as being in a poor condition and recommended for replacement.To construct a new pre-cast three span concrete bridge 29 metres long and 4.86metres wide, fitted to existing concrete abutments. New guard rail to be fitted upon installation.

The existing bridge has been assessed as being in a poor condition and recommended for replacement.To construct a new pre-cast span bridge 40.45 metres long and 4.14 metres wide. The existing wooden structured bridge will be demolished and a temporary bypass will be put in place while the new bridge is being constructed.
