Project description

Increased traffic over time has resulted in significant traffic congestion at a major intersection between a District Distributor (Eaton Drive) and a Local Distributor road (Glenhuon Boulevard). Long delays and queuing of traffic occurs at Glenhuon Boulevard at peak times.

This project provides for the final design and engineering investigations for the construction (in 2024/2025) of a revised, three-way signalised intersection layout. Revised channelisation and construction of new slip-lanes will enable safe left turns into and out of Glenhuon Boulevard while maximising the through traffic flow on the dual carriageways of Eaton Drive.

Total cost of proposed project is $150,000
