Project description

The Whyenbah Rd is one of Councils highly utilised roads that connects St George to Dirranbandi. The road is predominently gravel/unsealed road, therefore due to its high utilisation it creates faster deterioration requiring regular maintainence at large costs to Council's operating budget. The upgrade and sealing of additional sections of road allows the safety of the road to be largely increased as the deterioration of this section of road is dramatically reduced, therefore creating safer network for road users. While reducing Council's operating costs for maintaining this particular road which then allows Council to focus on improving other council roads within the network.

Bitumen Seal of Unsealed Section

Total cost of proposed project is $2,200,511
