Project description

Due to being a route to a grain receival bin, this section of the road receives some amount of heavy vehicle traffic. However due to its remoteness it is not given a high amount of maintenance attention. Because of this, the road has become corrugated down to its deeper pavement layers and drainage is in a poor state.

Replace culverts at SLK 2.65, SLK 2.83 and SLK 3.24 before resheeting. Then resheet this section of the road with gravel compacted to 250mm deep to a width of 10m. Afterwards lay a 2-coat 14/7mm bitumen seal to 7.2m width. Finish off by installing new guideposts along the entire road work section.

Total cost of proposed project is $242,632
