Project description

The Project will deliver critical safety improvement works along Main South Road between Myponga and Cape Jervis.

Benefits

This project will deliver three overtaking lanes and critical safety improvement works on Main South Road between Myponga and Cape Jervis improving safety and efficiency for road users with improved bushfire and emergency access.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $55.9 million to the project.

Timetable

The project is expected to commence in early 2026 and will be completed by early 2030.
