Project description

The project will develop Final Business Cases for critical road upgrades in South West Sydney including Hume Highway, Cowpasture Road, Camden Valley Way and Menangle Road to support housing growth in the Greater Macarthur Growth Area and the South West Growth Area. The business cases will identify upgrades needed to address congestion, improve road safety and enhance accessibility.

Provide a business case for key projects in South West Sydney which would inform investment with the aim of: - Providing better access to housing and employment. - Improving network efficiency. - Improving road safety.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $32.5 million towards the South West Sydney Roads - Planning project.

Timetable

The project timeframes will be determined in consultation with Transport for NSW.
