Project description

This project will deliver the design and approvals for Canberra Light Rail Stage 2B. Canberra Light Rail Stage 2B will extend the light rail network in Canberra from Commonwealth Park to Woden.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $50 million to this project.

Timetable

The project commenced planning in mid-2024, and is anticipated to be completed by mid-2028.
