Project description

The project will provide infrastructure for zero emission rapid bus services to connect the metropolitan centres of Penrith, Liverpool, Campbelltown and Blacktown to the Western Sydney International Airport and Aerotropolis.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $100 million towards the Western Sydney Rapid Bus Infrastructure Upgrade project.

The project is expected to commence in early 2026 and be completed in late 2027.
