Project description

Currently There is no gravel on this portion of the road and scouring is occurring, making this portion of the road unsafe.

Heavy formation of the existing road surface, scarify, shape and re-compact road surface to 150mm depth. Add 100mm of type 2.2 gravel to road surface and shape and compact to a 3% gradient to each side of the crown on the road surface. Gravel sheeting to protect road surface and allow all weather access as this is a local road of significance. This will provide access to the barge ramp for school bus and traditional owners.
