Project description

Reconstruct road pavement with a provision of special turning lanes and new medians, to improve road safety for all users. Reconstruct the shoulders to suffice vehicle parking bays including heavy vehicle parking. Installation of new stormwater drainage to resolve water ponding issues on the street. Install new watermains and connections including removal of the redundant. Placement of new concrete kerbing, concrete and gravel pavements (driveways and footpaths) including property access improvements where required. New medians proposed are targeted to impede unwanted movements and increase road safety to vehicles and pedestrians. Landscaping works (nature strip, plantation, etc.) to improve town aesthetics. Installation of new road furniture and pavement marking.

Placement of new concrete kerbing, concrete and gravel pavements (driveways and footpaths) including property access improvements where required. ERC 'B2' (K&G) for 2,077 Lineal metres. ERC 'M2' (Kerb Layback/Spoon drain) for 89 Lineal metres. ERC 'Residential Kerb Vehicle Layback' for 65 Lineal metres. ERC 'Industrial Kerb Vehicle Layback' for 253 Lineal metres. This project is jointly funded with Transport for NSW who will cover the costs of the project under their jurisdiction.
