Project description

Pavement failure, poor drainage and unsafe road conditions for motorists.

Upgrade Bungower Road between Tyabb-Tooradin Road and Westernport Highway in Somerville. Scopes included: road rehabilitation, drainage upgrade, safety barrier, removal/relocation of road side hazards etc. Council is submitting application for Safer Local Roads and Infrastructure Program (SLRIP) to contribute the remaining 50% of the total project cost.

Total cost of proposed project is $3,000,000
