Project description

The full width road pavement (800 m x 10 m) is in need of renewal and requires kerb and gutter and stormwater drainage upgrade on east side. Surface course is in poor condition and water is infiltrating the base layer due to inadequate drainage system.

Road pavement reconstruction of approximately 7,700 m2. Road pavement works include 250 mm thick cement stabilised base course and a 50 mm thick asphaltic Concrete wearing course on top. Works also include the provision of kerb and gutter, stormwater drainage and traffic calming devices to control speed.
