Project description

Existing sealed urban road is badly deteriorated, showing signs of pavement distress, rutting and shoving due to heavy vehicle traffic and industrial surrounding. There is a drainage and subgrade issue which is exacerbating the pavement condition and creating safety concerns for motorists.

Rehabilitation of kerb and gutter with sub soil drains. Rehabilitation of existing pavement surface using stabilisation and resurfacing with asphalt concrete course to provide pavement longevity. Line marking and RPMs will be installed as well. Council will be co funding the project with SLRIP funding of $1,909,687.
