Project description

Lee Point Road is undersized for the current and future level of development on either side of the road. In addition, the road pavement requires rehabilitation to prolong its life. Given the level of development on either side, road safety improvements are also required in the form of traffic signals or roundabout. In addition, the road currently has a rural cross section which needs to be upgraded to an urban cross section commensurate with the land use in the area. This includes the introduction of kerbing and underground stormwater drainage and other road upgrades.

Widening of a section Lee Point Road to increase capacity and introduction of traffic management device to improve safety of pedestrians and vehicles, reconstruction of pavement and further road upgrades.
