Project description

Road widening, road pavement improvement and address drainage issues. Road reconstruction including widening of road pavement and installation of kerb and channel, footpath, drainage works and traffic calming treatments. Holloway Road is a boundary road between Maroondah City Council and Manningham City Council. Total Project costs = $3,500,000.00 RTR Funding = $1,750,000.00 Manningham City Council contribution = $1,750,000.00

Settlement Road - 054767-14VIC-RTR

Sub-standard intersection alignment in the form of a skewed 'T' shape, resulting in dangerous vehicle movements. The intersection is deemed unsafe and there is a need to realign to a 'T' shaped intersection to improve safety.Realignment of road intersection to improve safety, rationalising & channelling vehicles into controlled entry and exit points and ensure adequate sight distances by redesigning to a 'T' shaped intersection.

Cynthia Range Road, Eidsvold Queensland - 054845-14QLD-RTR

Existing Road Surface is constructed with a poor quality material which becomes corrugated and/or slippery.Gravel resheet with a superior quality gravel to rectify defects and improve the safety of this road as it is on a school bus route.

Elizabeth Street Edenhope - 054847-14VIC-RTR

This section of road was previously constructed as part of council's urban upgrade program. The upgrade was from an unsealed road to sealed road.A final wearing sealed surface will be applied to the road for a total length of 400m and a width of 8m.

This section or road was upgraded and widened previously. The road surface was narrow, rough and uneven. This affected the trafficability and safety of the road which is a haulage route for timber trucks.A final wearing sealed surface will be applied on the road for a length of 700m and a width of 6.2m to protect the road formation from water, provide drainage and create a non skid surface

Inadequate road width and drainage on Collector Road resulting in pedestrian and traffic safety issues as well as minor local flooding of properties.Construction of road pavement over a length of 330 metres on the southern side of the road to create a 7.5 metre carriageway.
