Project description

As part of Drainage flood mitigation project in Bayview Avenue, Segment between Russel Street and Pier Road needs to be asphalted. In addition to this, the segment from the end of the splitter island at the intersection of Williams Street to Russell Street is in poor condition, exhibiting cracks, dips, and soft surface patches. These defects make the roadway uncomfortable and less safe for drivers, It is plan to lay a new layer of asphalt on the road including fixing soft and weak areas on the road by making the ground underneath stronger. This will help the road last longer and make it safer to drive on. Additional funding source -Bass Coast Shire Council
