Project description

The road pavement has reached the end of life. There is edge break and rutting defects. Defects continue to occur despite being patched, indicating potential issues with subgrade materials.

Road and pavement will be restored to as new condition with width, drainage and sealing as per current hierarchy specifications. The project is jointly funded with Gladstone Regional Council contributing $437,500 to the project.

Total cost of proposed project is $937,500

Branxholme-Byaduk Road, Branxholme - 060317-15VIC-RTR

Existing pavement has weakened and requires reconstruction.Vegetation clearing, drain reshaping, pipe culvert repairing, pavement stabilisation, and bitumen spray sealing.

Dutton Downs Road (Rural) - 060318-15QLD-RTR

The approaches to the Posiedon Crossing are unsealed and after every rain event the approaches are silting up and making it dangerous and sometimes inaccessible for the public to cross the crossing when wet.The approaches to the crossing will be de-silted and upgraded to concrete approaches, scope also involves road excavation and embankment works.Total cost of proposed project is $150,000

Callaghan Creek Road (rural road) - 060319-15VIC-RTR

Water penetration and heavy vehicle use has cause wearing course failure and pavement subsidenceMajor patching, pavement stabilisation and resealing to an average width of 5.3 m for a distance of 450m

Torver Valley Road (Rural) - 060320-15QLD-RTR

This road becomes boggy when wet making it impassable for motorists.Formation and gravel resheeting and bitumen seal of approximately 1.7km long x 6.5m wide.Total cost of proposed project is $330,500

Norseman Hyden Road - (Rural Road) - 060321-15WA-RTR

There is insufficient base material on the road between straight line kilometres 120 to 140. In order to maintain safety on the road this section requires re-sheeting to restore the thickness of gravel.Propose to re-sheet the road which involves winning gravel and regrading.Total cost of proposed project is $200,000

Moran Street, Hughenden - 060326-15QLD-RTR

This section of road has become rough and has potholes due to pavement failure.Reconstruct and strengthen pavement with cement stabilising, with a two coat seal 28m wide x 122m long. Reconstruct kerb and channelling with new kerb and channel.

Wanbrow Way (Duncraig) - 060327-15WA-RTR

Worn out asphalt surface (cracked and ravelled), cracked kerbing and damaged pram ramps, crossovers and drainage grates.New Kerbing, Drainage Grate adjustments and Asphalt Overlay. Length 490metres x Width 7.4metres

Sandalford Drive (Beldon) - 060328-15WA-RTR

Lower Dargo Road -Dargo - 060331-15VIC-RTR

Existing timber bridge is in the last stages of its useful life and unsuitable for rehabilitation.It is proposed to replace the existing bridge with a concrete and steel structure, capable of supporting main roads loading criteria (SM1600). The dimensions of the replacement bridge will be 35m in length and 4.5m clear width

Four Mile Creek -Giffard West - 060332-15VIC-RTR

Existing timber bridge is in the last stages of its useful life. It is currently load limited below 15T and unsuitable for rehabilitation.It is proposed to replace the existing bridge with a concrete structure, capable of supporting main roads loading criteria (SM1600). The dimensions of the replacement bridge will be 8m in length and 4.5m clear width
