Project description

The objective of this project is to enhance the capacity and operational efficiency of the Croydon Street/Milton Road intersection through targeted improvements to both corridors. These upgrades are designed to integrate with the Sylvan Road bikeway enhancement and support the strategic intent of reducing outbound traffic volumes on Sylvan Road (west of Croydon Street) in accordance with its designated role within the road hierarchy. The proposed works will include: • Relocation of public utility infrastructure • Upgrades to stormwater drainage systems • Installation of new traffic signals and lighting • Landscaping improvements • Partial road resurfacing and pavement reconstruction
