Project description

John Eden Road is a critical freight access route within the locality of Shea-Oak Log, providing direct heavy vehicle access to Tremlett Grain and Fertiliser and surrounding agricultural enterprises. The road plays a key role in supporting the movement of grain, fertiliser, and farm machinery within this productive agricultural region. Due to age, increasing heavy vehicle traffic, and limited structural resilience, the road is now considered to be at the end of its useful life. Surface failure, edge break, and drainage issues have resulted in reduced safety and increasing maintenance requirements.

Road will be re-sheeted and constructed using a suitable quarry material that will provide a higher level of rideability and decreases maintenance intervals.
