Project description

Condition of the road requires resurfacing/deep lift asphalt treatment.

The road rehabilitation project on Masthead Drive includes resurfacing the main lanes and roundabouts with 50mm of asphalt and strengthening the underlying pavement with a 220mm stabilised base in key areas. Parking lanes will also be resurfaced, with pavement failures repaired using 80mm of heavy-duty asphalt. The works will also involve replacing 29 stormwater kerb inlets with new bike-safe grates to improve drainage and safety for all road users.
