Project description

Approximately 170 m long concrete kerb and channel and 1230 sqm of roads are in a dilapidated condition. The roads have deteriorated over the years and uneven, showing signs of failures. Vehicle crossovers damaged as well as some scraping of road pavement. There is no underground drainage system in Maple Street to drain the stormwater discharge from properties and road surface runoff to underground pits and pipes.

The work involves installing new kerb and channels, reconstructing failed pavement sections, installing underground drains, filling drainage trenches and constructing pavements, providing adequate drainage to the street and asphalt surfacing. This is a joint project, Glen Eira City Council contributing $68,004 of the total project cost.

Total cost of proposed project is $384,115
