Project description

Cracking has occurred at many locations along the street and the road pavement surface is breaking up. The pavement has also lost shape with significant failures and requires full reconstruction to address failures and loss of shape and safety risk to all users. Kerb and channel have subsided along the length of street and holds water in many locations. The kerb and channel require reconstruction and new drainage installed.

Works involve kerb and channel replacement, installation of new drainage and full width rehabilitation of road pavement and asphalt re-sheet to current standards. The project is not fully funded by Roads to Recovery, with the balance of budget funded by Council’s 2025/26 Capital Works Program.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,050,000
