Project description

The purpose of the project is to renew the road pavement to provide safe and trafficable road and continue investment into the Colac Otway Shire annual road reconstruction program. The project has the following benefits: 1. Restore the road surface to a safe and trafficable condition. 2. Increase the level of service provided to the community The reconstruction of Pengilley Avenue between Gallipoli Parade and Costin Street involves the replacement of the road pavement, replacing damaged section of the footpath near the Costin St intersection and replacing 1.8 m of kerb and channel. Replace selected SEP lids and the footpath bays. The project is to include all necessary works to provide a fit for purpose industry road, with a design life of 20 years.
